Additionally, the manager maintains operational readiness through governance of procedures, training, exercises, and response protocols, while supporting major events, cross-functional initiatives, vendor management activities, and business travel requirements.

Platform, Systems, Vendors, and Technical Operations:

  • The Sr. Manager serves as the operational owner for key security technology platforms, ensuring they effectively support incident management, employee safety, threat monitoring, intelligence, and GSOC operations while driving continuous improvement in workflows, automation, reporting, and user experience.
  • The role also manages vendor relationships and platform performance, evaluating service quality, support responsiveness, and operational effectiveness.

Workforce Leadership and Contractor Company Coordination:

  • The Sr. Manager leads the development, readiness, and performance of GSOC personnel and contract operators, ensuring the team maintains the staffing levels, skills, training, operational discipline, and decision-making capabilities required to support a complex global security environment.
  • The role provides leadership during routine operations, major incidents, and crisis activations while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, service excellence, and continuous improvement across the operations center.
  • In partnership with contract security providers and vendor managers, the Manager oversees staffing quality, operator performance, onboarding, training compliance, and corrective action processes to ensure contractual resources consistently meet operational requirements and service expectations.

Stakeholder Engagement and External Benchmarking:

  • The Sr. Manager collaborates closely with internal stakeholders, senior leaders, and business partners to ensure consistent global security operations, provide strategic briefings, and align response capabilities with business needs.
  • The role also drives continuous improvement by benchmarking industry best practices, maintaining relationships with peer organizations and vendors, and recommending enhancements to technologies, processes, training, and operational workflows.
