Role details:
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our Shepparton Food Can site. This is a full-time permanent career role.
- Days Monday - Friday 7am - 3pm
- 40hour weeks (with 4 hours banked RDO time)
- Saturdays and Sundays available at penalty rates
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
What you’ll do:
- Diagnose and fix problems with components, Alan Bradley PLCs, wiring and equipment throughout the plant.
- Involvement in upgrades to electrical systems and completing overhauls of equipment as required.
- Perform routine electrical checks and attend breakdowns in a timely manner.
- Complete daily work orders - we use Ampro system
What you’ll bring:
- Electrical trade qualification with an open A grade VIC electrical licence.
- Experience in Alan Bradley PLC control system, automation diagnostics and fault finding
- Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in fast-paced manufacturing environments - ideally in the food space
- Working alongside the production team to resolve issues.
- Passion for continuous improvement and optimisation.
- A proactive attitude and a commitment to safety.
