Overview
Visy is a privately owned Australian packaging, recycling and logistics company headquartered in Southbank, Melbourne, making cardboard boxes, paper, glass, plastic and beverage and food cans and recovering recyclable materials. Founded in 1948, it runs more than 120 sites across Australia and New Zealand with offices in Asia, Europe and the US, and its Visy Global Logistics arm sells freight forwarding and customs brokerage services. It hires production workers, machine operators, maintenance electricians and mechanical technicians, operations supervisors, recycling site managers, packaging engineers, logistics sales staff and customer service representatives.
