If so, we’re looking for a BMS Commissioning Engineer to join our specialist team where they will take direct responsibility for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a number of Vital Energi’s plantrooms/ solar farms and boiler rooms.
This role will involve traveling and the occasional working away from home so please only apply if you are willing to travel/ work away.

The Role-
- Develop detailed commissioning plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
- PLC Programming
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve commissioning issues, escalating where necessary.
- Collaborate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients throughout the commissioning process.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
- Traveling to and from different sites
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the commissioning department.
- Plan, manage, and carry out commissioning activities across solar farms, energy centres, and boiler houses
Qualifications & Experience
- HNC/HND or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Proven experience in commissioning within the energy, utilities, or renewables sectors.
- Strong understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and electrical safety.
- Knowledge of/experience with Renewable Energy technologies such as Heat Pumps and Solar will be highly advantageous
- Full UK manual driving licence
