You are a detail-oriented scientist with a strong foundation in biological or chemical sciences and a growing depth of experience in immunoassay development. You are motivated, curious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment. You bring hands-on lab experience from academic or industry settings and are eager to contribute to the development of innovative diagnostic products while taking on greater technical ownership.

What you’ll do:

  • Design, execute, and independently analyze experiments for immunoassay development, integration, and validation.

  • Document experimental results clearly and present data at internal meetings and project reviews.

  • Troubleshoot assay performance issues and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.

  • Operate, maintain, and help optimize laboratory instrumentation such as plate readers, liquid handlers, and other relevant tools.

  • Contribute to technical documentation, assay workflows, and technology transfer activities.

  • Follow standard operating procedures and quality guidelines to support compliance with regulatory standards such as cGMP and ISO 13485.

  • Support lab organization, including inventory management, equipment maintenance, and supply tracking.

  • Collaborate closely with clinical, regulatory, engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to support project timelines and deliverables.

  • Help drive experimental planning, data interpretation, and decision-making for assay development programs.

  • Adhere to company guidelines on code of conduct and lab safety practices to maintain an organized and compliant laboratory environment.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, or a related field.

  • Experience interpreting experimental data and contributing to assay troubleshooting or optimization.

  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned work.

  • Commitment to lab safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with nanoparticles, microfluidics, automated laboratory systems, protein conjugation, immobilization chemistry, or statistical analyses.

  • Prior exposure to technology transfer, assay development, or regulatory submission support.

  • Experience writing SOPs and lab documentation, or using eQMS systems.

  • Familiarity working in a startup environment and a demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems.

  • Appreciation for puns and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
