R&D Deep Learning Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep learning software to speed up the process of data labelling, model training and model inference for various computer vision tasks including image classification, semantic segmentation and object detection
• Research on algorithm improvements for higher performance, speed, accuracy and optimality
• Develop customised models for tasks that are hardly handled by traditional image processing algorithms
• Maintain and enhance previously developed deep learning software and models

Key Qualifications

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering (Software / Computer / Mechatronics / Electrical & Electronics) or equivalent
• Possess some experience in object-oriented programming languages, such as Python
• Experience with machine and deep learning frameworks, such as Scikit-Learn, Pytorch or TensorFlow
• Knowledgeable and experienced in applying deep learning algorithms on computer vision tasks, including image classification, semantic segmentation or object detection
• Experience with web development (REST) and / or container technology (Docker / Kubernetes) is a plus
