The team you'll join

• Toss Global is expanding into new markets, starting with Australia. As we grow, we’re building our approach to understanding customers in each country from the ground up.
• You’ll join the Toss Global team and work closely with UX Researchers, Product Designers, and Product Owners.
• One of the first questions we’re exploring is simple but important: Who are our customers in each market, and why would they choose to use Toss?
• Rather than running one-off studies, we’re building a research approach we can use across countries to compare what we learn and build on it as we grow.

What you'll do

• Run user research in English. You’ll lead interviews and usability tests with users in English-speaking markets, from facilitating sessions to documenting the findings.
• Help design research studies. You’ll work with UX Researchers and Product Designers to define participant criteria, create interview guides and task scenarios, and adapt questions to each market’s culture and financial experience.
• Work with research partners and participants around the world. You’ll confirm recruiting criteria, coordinate schedules, and help sessions run smoothly.
• Turn research into action. Help identify what users need and where the product can improve.
• Make research reusable. You’ll document findings from each market so they can inform future projects, not just the study at hand.

Who we're looking for

• You can lead user interviews in English and go beyond a prepared list of questions, knowing when to listen, dig deeper, and follow up.
• You’re curious about customers and motivated to uncover problems and improve the product.
• You’re comfortable with unfamiliar work and can find a way forward and see it through.
• You’re genuinely curious about people from different cultures. When you hear something unexpected, you dig a little deeper to understand why

• It doesn’t need to be professional research experience. A school project, club activity, or experience from living abroad is just as welcome.

Important Information

• You don’t need a portfolio to apply. We’re more interested in how you think, listen, and learn.

• This position is a short-term contract position, with a contract period of 3 months from the start date.
• Working hours are 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday, excluding a 1-hour unpaid break.
• The monthly salary is KRW 2.4 million before tax, including weekly holiday pay and meal allowance.
• The start date will be coordinated for a date in October.

• 영어권 사용자를 대상으로 인터뷰와 사용성 테스트를 영어로 직접 진행하고, 세션 진행부터 결과 정리까지 맡아요.
• UX Researcher, Product Designer와 함께 리서치를 설계해요. 참여자 조건을 정하고, 인터뷰 가이드와 과제 시나리오를 만들며, 각 나라의 문화와 금융 경험에 맞게 질문을 다듬어요.
• 해외 리서치 파트너사와 참여자와 직접 소통해요. 모집 조건을 확인하고 일정을 조율하며, 세션이 원활하게 진행될 수 있도록 챙겨요.
• 리서치 결과를 바탕으로 사용자가 무엇을 필요로 하는지, 제품에서 어떤 부분을 개선할 수 있는지 찾아요.
• 나라별 리서치 결과를 기록하고 정리해, 해당 리서치에서 끝나지 않고 다음 프로젝트에서도 활용할 수 있도록 해요.

• 준비한 질문을 읽는 데서 그치지 않고, 상대방의 이야기를 잘 듣고 더 깊이 질문하며 자연스럽게 후속 질문을 이어갈 수 있어야 해요.
• 고객에 대한 호기심이 많고, 고객의 문제를 발견해 제품을 개선하고 싶은 분을 찾고 있어요.
• 처음 해보는 일이나 익숙하지 않은 업무도 스스로 방법을 찾아 끝까지 해낼 수 있는 분을 찾고 있어요.

• 영어로 사용자와 대화하며 말에 담긴 생각과 맥락, 뉘앙스까지 이해하고 소통할 수 있는 언어 능력이 있어요.
• 해외에서 생활하거나 일하며 현지 사람들과 깊이 소통해본 경험이 있어요.
• UX 관련 전공이나 학부 리서치 경험이 있어요.
• 시차가 있는 해외 파트너나 참여자와 원격으로 협업해본 경험이 있어요.

• 꼭 전문적인 리서치 경험일 필요는 없어요. 학교 과제, 동아리 활동, 해외 생활에서의 경험도 좋아요.

• 고용 형태는 단기계약직으로 진행되고, 계약기간은 입사일로부터 3개월이에요.
• 근무 시간은 월요일부터 금요일까지, 일 8시간(휴게시간 1시간 별도)이에요.
• 월 급여는 240만원(세전)이며, 주휴수당 및 식대가 포함되어 있어요.
• 입사일은 10월 내 입사하는 일정으로 조율 될 예정이에요.
