As our Professional Services Engineer, you will step into a greenfield role where you turn high-impact enterprise architecture into reality from day one. Leveraging vivenu’s modern, API-first platform, you will bypass legacy tech debt to engineer high-performance integrations, custom automation, and core client implementations. Supported by Engagement Managers and Solution Architects who protect your focus and manage customer interactions, you will execute in deep technical build mode-writing production code, building reusable integration patterns, and shipping solutions directly into production. Ultimately, your engineering execution will have a direct business impact by turning major enterprise deals into successful go-lives and driving our global expansion.
As a Professional Services Engineer (d/f/m) your responsibilities will include:
Design and architect robust technical solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with customer needs (headless vs. 3rd party integrations)
Write scripts and light custom code to support data migration, automation, and system integration
Partner with vivenu Engagement managers, Solutions Architects and Customer Success Managers to scope technical requirements and estimate effort
Design, build, and deploy production applications that combine user business logic, APIs, SDKs, webhooks, vivenu best practices, and user-facing interfaces
Collaborate directly with internal and external stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical teams and executives
Engage directly with users to deeply understand challenges, requirements, and co-develop solutions,
Contribute tooling, frameworks, and best practices that scale impact across accounts
What you will need to succeed in this role:
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with depth of technical expertise.
- 1+ years of experience in a technical delivery role (e.g., Professional Services, Solutions Engineering, Implementation Engineering, or Customer Software Development).
- Strong proficiency in building full-stack applications (e.g. with Typescript/Node.js).
- Hands-on experience working with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party system integrations.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases for querying, data transformation, and migration scripts.
- Proven ability to debug complex issues quickly across multi-layered systems (data, API, application).
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical details internally, paired with the ability to navigate multiple client deliverables simultaneously.
