We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Technical Team Lead to join our team. In this role, you will guide and inspire a team of talented engineers to build scalable, maintainable, and innovative software solutions that power public transportation systems.

Located in Melbourne or Perth, with hybrid working arrangements offering 3 days in-office, this is a unique opportunity to influence the future of mobility technology in a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a development team by providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Design and architect scalable, maintainable software solutions aligned with business goals.
• Drive best practices in software development, including code quality, testing, documentation, and DevOps automation.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, and Stakeholders to define technical requirements and priorities.
• Manage technical risks, resolve blockers, and ensure timely delivery within Agile frameworks.
• Foster a positive team culture that encourages innovation, learning, and accountability.

What You Will Bring:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated leadership in technical roles.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and system integration.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and modern application frameworks.
• Experience leading Agile development teams and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.
• Passion for mentoring and developing others, with a commitment to maintaining high engineering standards.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is preferred.
