Senior Engineering Manager – AI & ML

VODA.ai is seeking a full-timeSenior Manager, AI/ML. In this role, you will report directly to our CTO and you will be the primary technical leader responsible for our in-house machine learning and AI agent development. The role spans platforming and AI/ML Ops that enable our teams to move fast and reliably, as well as a number of client-facing features that leverage ML and AI models.

Qualifications

• Track record of building and owning production machine learning systems end-to-end; some experience using LLMs to create AI and agentic experiences is a plus

• Prior experience managing a team of 5-10 engineers and AI/ML developers across the full lifecycle of hiring, coaching & development, and performance management

• Strong architectural instincts: you know what a Python ML stack looks like, you can reason about a ReAct loop, and you can make scalable design choices at code level

• Hands-on experience with (backend) engineering in the cloud (we use AWS), core CI/CD practices

• Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, physics, electrical engineering, …) or equivalent professional experience

• A desire to always be learning!
