About this Role

We are seeking a skilled SQL Data & Reporting Specialist to join our Device Operations team. This role is ideal for an individual with strong database management, SQL development, and data analysis expertise who enjoys transforming business requirements into reliable data solutions. You will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing database environments, improving data quality, delivering reporting solutions, and supporting business stakeholders with meaningful insights. The position offers the opportunity to work across multiple data sources, reporting platforms, and analytical initiatives within a collaborative international environment. As part of the role, you will regularly collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders in German-speaking markets. Therefore, a good working knowledge of German is required, enabling you to participate in meetings, understand business requirements, and work with German-language documentation and communications.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions across a variety of data sources.
• Create and maintain SQL data feeds into and out of internal systems.
• Migrate and optimise reporting solutions within Teradata database environments.
• Apply best practices in database design, implementation, and data security.
• Perform data quality checks and ensure the accuracy of reports and exports.
• Monitor database jobs and transfer queues to ensure reliable system performance.
• Design, deploy, and maintain reporting solutions using multiple data sources.
• Develop ad hoc and business-driven reports using SQL.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Support reporting projects and contribute to technical design discussions.
• Perform data analysis and data modelling activities.
• Automate and execute data loading processes for Aftersales operations.
• Provide business users with data required for performance metrics and analysis.
• Support database management activities and share knowledge with team members through coaching and training.

Who you are

• Experienced in data analysis, data processing, and database management.
• Strong expertise in SQL development and database design principles.
• Experience working with Teradata or similar enterprise database platforms.
• Knowledge of UNIX environments and scripting, including Perl.
• Experience with reporting and dashboarding solutions such as QlikView, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Comfortable working independently and managing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience in telecommunications or telecom ERP systems would be advantageous.
• Good working knowledge of German and English.
• Typically brings 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
