Job Description: PHP Developer (Laravel)
We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with hands-on experience in Laravel to develop, maintain, and optimize web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong backend development skills, an understanding of database management, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams during night-shift hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
- Write clean, scalable, secure, and well-documented code.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Work with MySQL databases, including query optimization and database design.
- Troubleshoot bugs, resolve technical issues, and improve application performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, deployment, and ongoing application maintenance.
- Follow coding standards, security best practices, and development guidelines.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Hands-on experience with the Laravel framework.
- Good knowledge of MySQL, database design, and query optimization.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic frontend technologies.
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Knowledge of MVC architecture, authentication, and web application security.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to work the night shift from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Linux, server management, and application deployment.
- Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of caching, queues, and Laravel job scheduling.
- Experience working with existing codebases and production applications.
Work Timings:
6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST (Night Shift) - WFH
Candidates should be comfortable working during the specified hours.
