Laser Machine Operator - Afternoon Shift

Join our Profiling Stainless team in East Tamaki as a Laser Operator. This is a hands-on role operating CNC laser machines to produce high-quality stainless steel products. You will work on our afternoon shift, Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm to 12:00 am, giving you a three-day weekend every week.
Training will be provided on day shift (Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm) for up to three months before moving to the afternoon shift. Candidates who progress quickly may transition earlier.
What You'll Do
- Run and set up CNC laser machines
- Check machines are working properly
- Make sure products meet quality standards
- Fill in simple paperwork
- Use forklift and overhead crane when needed
- Keep your work area clean and tidy
What You'll Need
- Some experience with CNC laser or similar machines preferred (full training also provided)
- Forklift and/or overhead crane experience (training available)
- Full driver licence
- Good attention to detail
- Fit, reliable and able to work on your own
- A valid work visa or right to work in New Zealand
- Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
