Facility Engineer

We are seeking an experiencedFacility Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and general upkeep of the school's facilities. This includes managing daily operations, coordinating with external vendors, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting the overall learning environment. The Facility Manager will play a vital role in ensuring that Waad Academy's physical infrastructure remains well-maintained and contributes to a safe, positive, and conducive educational atmosphere for both students and staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial), Business Administration, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in high-volume environments (e.g., schools, hospitals, malls) is essential.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to oversee and motivate a diverse team.
• Familiarity with operational challenges in educational or public institutions, as well as safety and compliance standards for public spaces.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
