Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Understand and translate complex client requirements involving AutoCAD/Inventor into technical solutions.
• Work closely with clients and the engineering team to design and implement CAD-based software solutions.
• Build software and automation solutions around AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Develop applications and workflows using AutoCAD APIs.
• Automate CAD workflows to improve engineering productivity and efficiency.
• Extend AutoCAD functionality through plugins, add-ins, and custom tools.
• Work with 3D modelling workflows and CAD-related engineering use cases.
• Integrate CAD capabilities with broader software systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot, improve, and optimise existing CAD automation solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers across product, software, and AI teams to build scalable solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience working with AutoCAD/Inventor and CAD software development.
• 3D Modelling Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD and/or Inventor for 3D modelling.
• Platform Extension: Proven experience building software, plugins, add-ins, extensions, or custom tools around AutoCAD/Inventor.
• APIs and Automation: Strong experience with AutoCAD APIs and workflow automation.
• Engineering Domain: Strong understanding of CAD workflows and engineering use cases.
• Client-Facing Architecture: Ability to understand complex client requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Core Engineering Skills: Strong software development, system design, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaboration: Ability to work closely with both external clients and internal cross-functional engineering teams.
