Kitchen Technical Office Engineer

•  Prepare and issue necessary shop drawings for products and specify the nature, quantity, and quality of materials required and select suitable materials (wood, metal, accessories, paint, textiles, fabrics, etc…).

• Produce cutting lists needed for furniture and woodwork production.

• Research, Supply and advice product designers with suitable fittings for new products.

• Regularly updating the “Material Library”.

• Ensure that the concerned departments are supplied with all documentation, catalogues , technical drawings, lists and materials needed to carry out the works.

• Reviews preliminary designs, working drawings, specifications and cost estimates related to product/project.

• Preparing & updating products’/projects’ BOQs and calculating quantities.

• Represent company in technical meetings and presentations.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor in architecture or applied arts or any related education

Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience in same field

Skills:

• Exceptional engineering drawing software skills (AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks , Cut List & MaxCut,…etc)

• Good communication both written and verbal

• Team work skills.

• High end customer service

• Ability to work in a high paced environment and to multitask

• Problem solving

• Decision making

• Exceptional computer skills (ERP Systems, MS Office)

• Good English Language
