Sobre el Rol

El/la Live Events BOC Operator es responsable de apoyar la correcta ejecución de transmisiones en vivo de eventos deportivos, de entretenimiento y especiales a través de plataformas lineales y digitales. Este rol desempeña una función clave dentro del Broadcast Operations Center (BOC), garantizando los más altos estándares de calidad de audio y video, confiabilidad de transmisión y excelencia operativa durante los eventos en vivo.

Trabajando en estrecha colaboración con los equipos de producción, socios técnicos y proveedores de transmisión, la persona en esta posición contribuye a asegurar emisiones en vivo fluidas y sin interrupciones, ofreciendo una experiencia excepcional para la audiencia.

Responsabilidades Principales

• Coordinar, a través de la matriz de comunicaciones (intercom), con el equipo de producción en sitio los ingresos y salidas al aire (countdowns y señales operativas).
• Insertar gráficas promocionales y comerciales durante las transmisiones.
• Realizar el control de calidad de los enlaces de transmisión (fibra óptica, enlaces satelitales y enlaces LiveU).
• Monitorear y garantizar la calidad de audio y video.
• Grabar e ingestar contenido en vivo para archivo o reproducción posterior.
• Operar producciones de streaming destinadas a redes sociales u otras plataformas OTT utilizando herramientas como vMix.

Requisitos y cualificaciones

• Estudios en Radiodifusión, Producción Audiovisual, Cine y Televisión, Diseño de Imagen y Sonido, Comunicación Audiovisual o carreras afines.
• Conocimiento de los flujos de trabajo de transmisiones en vivo y operaciones de transmisión.
• Capacidad para reaccionar de forma rápida y efectiva en entornos de alta presión y tiempos críticos.
• Gran atención al detalle y compromiso con la excelencia operativa.
• Excelentes habilidades de organización y comunicación.
• Flexibilidad para trabajar en horarios rotativos y coberturas de eventos en vivo según las necesidades del negocio.
• Mentalidad proactiva para la resolución de problemas y capacidad para colaborar con múltiples equipos.

Deseables

• Experiencia brindando soporte a transmisiones deportivas en vivo o producciones de gran escala.
• Conocimientos en tecnologías de transmisión de video, incluyendo fibra óptica, satélite, IP y soluciones de conectividad celular agregada (bonded cellular), como LiveU.
• Experiencia con plataformas de broadcasting y streaming como vMix, Vizrt, EVS o sistemas similares.
