Supply Chain Manager – Commodity Management

Role Description:  Supply Chain Manager - Commodity Management. 

Location: Candidates who are currently located in Kosovo only. 

Role Purpose: 

Wasabi Technologies is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager - Commodity Management to join our growing Operations team. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing and commodity strategies across key technology categories, including storage, servers, networking equipment, and hardware components.  

The ideal candidate will bring strong supplier management experience, market intelligence, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced technology environment. This position plays a critical role in ensuring supply continuity, cost optimization, and operational efficiency across the business.

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and execute commodity and sourcing strategies for technology hardware categories including storage, servers, networking equipment, and related components. 

• Manage supplier relationships, lead supplier business reviews, and track performance against KPIs including cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness. 

• Monitor market trends, supplier capacity, and pricing conditions to support sourcing decisions and reduce supply chain risk. 

• Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to support new product introductions, product transitions, and long-term supply planning. 

• Drive cost savings initiatives through supplier negotiations, process improvements, and supply base optimization strategies. 

• Support supply and capacity planning activities, including forecasting, allocation management, and coordination with contract manufacturers and suppliers. 

Requirements: 

• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, sourcing, or commodity management within a technology or hardware-focused environment. 

• Experience managing technology commodities such as storage systems, servers, networking equipment, or hardware components. 

• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 

• Experience supporting supply planning, forecasting, supplier performance management, and cost reduction initiatives. 

• Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Able to adapt quickly and work effectively in greenfield environments. Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 10-20% of the time. 

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
