We are looking for a Video Editor to work at We Are Social in Dubai (previously Socialize).

We operate 4 days in the office with the ability to work from home on Fridays.
The Opportunity
Are you a visual storyteller with an eye for detail and a flair for cinematic magic? We Are Social is on the lookout for a Video Editor extraordinaire to join our creative crew. If you live and breathe video content, love crafting compelling narratives through footage, and have a strong grasp of the latest digital trends - we want you!
As our resident Video Editing Maestro, you'll work on dynamic campaigns across industries including fashion, lifestyle, F&B, and tech. From refining raw footage to color grading, title design, and motion graphics, you'll play a key role in producing polished content that captivates audiences and delivers results.
What You’ll Do
- Review shooting scripts and raw footage to create structured, engaging edits.
- Collaborate with creative teams to execute high-quality video content from concept to final cut.
- Develop motion graphics and title animations using Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop.
- Color grade and sound design videos to ensure a professional finish across platforms.
- Archive and manage content assets systematically for future reuse and adaptation.
- Support idea development by pitching visual approaches for new campaigns and formats.
- Stay up-to-date with video trends, tools, and editing techniques to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Requirements
What Else Are We Looking For?
- Proven experience in video editing and motion design (agency experience is a plus).
- Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
- Arabic and English proficiency for text localization and subtitling
- A sharp sense of timing, pacing, and storytelling.
- An eye for design and aesthetics, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in color correction and grading workflows.
- A problem-solver who can work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- A collaborative attitude and ability to give/receive feedback like a pro.
