SEO Intern

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled SEO Intern to join our martech company's marketing team. As an SEO Intern, you will play a crucial role in driving organic traffic, improving search engine rankings, and optimizing our website for maximum visibility and conversions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective SEO strategies, ensuring our online presence aligns with industry best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute effective SEO strategies to increase organic search rankings and drive targeted traffic to our website.
• Conduct thorough keyword research to identify opportunities for content optimization and creation.
• Optimize website content, including landing pages, blog articles, and product pages, to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
• Perform on-page optimization, including meta tag optimization, URL restructuring, and content optimization for relevant keywords.
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms to identify areas for improvement and track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with content creators to develop high-quality, SEO-friendly content that aligns with keyword research and user intent.
• Identify and implement link-building opportunities to improve website authority and domain ranking.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and search engine algorithms.
• Conduct competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities in organic search rankings and develop strategies to outperform competitors.
• Generate regular reports on SEO performance and present findings and recommendations to the marketing team and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferable.
• Fresher or internship experience in SEO, preferably in a digital marketing agency or e-commerce environment.
• In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and best practices in SEO.
• knowledge in SEO tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, analyze trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge with content management systems (CMS) and website optimization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Proven track record of improving organic search rankings and increasing organic traffic.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
