Corporate Strategist
The Weave Corporate Strategy team is integral in helping Weave’s C-Team & executive leadership craft our corporate strategy and then execute it. The Strategy team focuses on 5 key areas:
(1) Run “BizOps” (internal consulting) efforts focused on improving internal operations + special projects for executive leadership
(2) Develop Weave’s Strategy Plan
(3) Identify & Launch into New Markets
(4) M&A
(5) Own Weave’s competitive intelligence initiatives
Approximately 75% of bandwidth for this role will be dedicated to supporting Weave’s payments + partnerships organizations. 25% will be supporting other strategy team responsibilities (strategy planning, market intelligence, new markets, etc.)
Reports to: Sr. Director of Strategy
This position will be hybrid (remote + in-office), based out of our Lehi, UT HQ
What You Will Own
(1) Run “BizOps” / Internal Consulting Efforts (with a focus on Weave’s Payments/RCM business unit)
Lead strategy & execution projects supporting our Head of Product (Payments & RCM solutions), GM of Payments, VP of Partnerships, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and other departments (as needed). Focus would be heavily on executing payments/RCM + partnership initiatives.
Develop effective revenue growth strategies (ex: how to grow Weave’s payments business, how to test new pricing models/partnerships, etc.)
Analyze internal business practices with the goal of determining bottlenecks to providing effective operations. Provide executive-level recommendations on how we can improve & optimize
(2) Define Weave’s Strategy Plan
Develop Weave’s 3-year Strategy Model (Vision, Values, Focus Areas, Objectives, KPIs, Major Initiatives)
Build response plans for specific competitors and market trends
Analysis of Weave’s strategic position (ex: using SWOT or other strategy frameworks)
Assist the CEO & C-Team in running key leadership meetings & workshops (ex: C-team offsites, Board meetings, etc..)
(3) Identify & Launch into New Markets
Identify new markets, conduct initial research and help align resources across Weave to launch into new industries and/or international expansions
Help identify new markets + strategic partnerships for Weave’s payments and RCM product lines
(4) M&A
Identify acquisition targets
Perform due diligence on potential merger & acquisition targets
Help lead post-merger integration (PMI) efforts
(5) Competitive Intelligence
Produce robust analysis/insights into Weave’s competitive landscape (particularly for payments and RCM competitors + industry leaders/startups)
What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job
5-10 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, revenue operations, or related field. Experience in payments + RCM industry preferred.
Undergraduate degree required, preferably in a quantitative field (STEM)
What Will Make Us Love You
3-4+ years of SaaS experience (preferred but not required)
Strategy Experience: familiar with strategy frameworks and helping an organization craft a thoughtful 1-3 year strategy
Strong analytical skills: Should possess familiarity with common data tools (Excel, Sigma/Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, etc.). Has the ability to make complex data “simple & insightful” for others.
Experience with financial modelling (preferred but not required)
Strong “executive presence”: Ability to prepare and deliver persuasive, data-driven arguments and presentations to senior management (including VP & C-Team levels). Should be comfortable building executive-quality PowerPoint & “short memos” to deliver analysis & recommendations.

Hyper-organised: Extremely strong project management and organizational habits & skill-set.
Flexible: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team; able to handle strict/changing deadlines + shifting priorities
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
