Weave is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company headquartered in Lehi, Utah, and founded in 2008. The company provides an all-in-one communication and customer engagement platform that integrates phone systems, text messaging, online scheduling, and payment processing for small businesses. Primarily serving the healthcare, dental, and veterinary sectors, the firm is publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange and operates across the United States and Canada.

We are looking for a Staff Product Designer to lead the design of intuitive, insightful, and actionable experiences within Weave’s Analytics product. This role will shape how customers understand and act on their business data, bringing strong product thinking, systems-level UX, and customer-centred design to complex analytics workflows.

The Staff Product Designer will contribute across the full product lifecycle from problem discovery, research, and strategy through ideation, execution, and iteration while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams. This role will help establish a cohesive, scalable experience across Analytics, influence product direction, and raise the bar for design quality across the broader platform.

We value designers who can navigate complex problems, advocate for customer needs, collaborate effectively across disciplines, and bring clarity to ambiguous spaces. The ideal candidate will combine strong craft with strategic thinking and a systems mindset to create experiences that are both intuitive and impactful.

About Weave

  • Reports to the Product Design Manager.

What You Will Own

The role's duties and responsibilities.

  • Lead end-to-end design for Analytics, translating sophisticated data, reporting, and business workflows into intuitive, actionable experiences across dashboards, reports, and core product surfaces.

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define problems, uncover opportunities, and translate complex customer and business needs into clear experiences that drive meaningful outcomes.

  • Influence Analytics product vision, strategy, and roadmap by bringing a strong customer perspective, systems thinking, and a deep understanding of how practices use data to make business decisions.

  • Establish scalable interaction models and patterns that balance usability, discoverability, flexibility, and depth across Analytics workflows.

  • Shape a cohesive experience across the Analytics ecosystem by reducing fragmentation and creating consistent mental models across dashboards, filters, reports, visualizations, and comparison workflows.

  • Leverage and extend Weave’s Design System to create scalable, accessible, and consistent experiences while introducing patterns that support evolving data and reporting needs.

  • Conduct and synthesize research with practice owners, office managers, and front-office staff to understand how customers interpret and act on data, identifying opportunities to make Analytics more insightful and actionable.

  • Use product analytics, customer feedback, and tools such as Pendo and Sigma to evaluate effectiveness, identify friction, and continuously improve the experience based on real-world behaviour.

  • Champion a high bar for design quality and contribute to the broader design practice through critiques, design strategy, knowledge sharing, and mentorship.

  • Partner closely with Engineering throughout implementation to ensure design intent, interaction quality, accessibility, and system cohesion are maintained through delivery.

  • Bring a systems-level perspective to Analytics, simplifying workflows, establishing reusable patterns, and building a scalable foundation for the product as it evolves.

What You Will Need to Accomplish the Job

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product or UX design experience, with a proven track record of shipping data-intensive products across analytics, BI, SaaS, financial, healthcare, or similar domains-from problem discovery and strategy through execution, launch, and iteration.

  • Strong UX and visual design fundamentals, with the ability to translate complex data, workflows, and information architectures into intuitive, scalable, and actionable experiences.

  • Experience designing data-dense interfaces, including dashboards, reporting, data visualization, filtering, segmentation, drill-downs, comparisons, and other advanced analytical workflows.

  • Strong product design thinking, with the ability to independently identify problems, frame opportunities, influence product strategy, and make informed design decisions in partnership with Product and Engineering.

  • Hands-on expertise with Figma, user research and testing methods, and product analytics tools such as Pendo, Sigma, Maze, or similar platforms.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build alignment across cross-functional teams and clearly articulate design decisions.

  • Ability to balance customer needs, business goals, technical constraints, and scalability when making product and design decisions.

  • Close attention to detail and a strong bar for craft, with a focus on consistency, accessibility, usability, and quality across the full product experience.

What Will Make Us Love You

Beyond the core requirements, we’re looking for someone who stands out in how they think, lead, and create impact.

  • You stay hungry, care more, and stay curious. You care deeply about the customer and the quality of the work.

  • You take ambiguous problems, create clarity, and drive them forward without waiting for someone to tell you what to do.

  • You understand the day-to-day reality of healthcare practices and design around their real needs, not just what they ask for.

  • You don’t just make data easier to understand; you help customers make better decisions and improve their business.

  • You look beyond individual features to find patterns, simplify complexity, and build experiences that scale across the product.

  • You can navigate multi-tenant products, legacy systems, integrations, and technical constraints without losing sight of the user experience.

  • You mentor, give thoughtful feedback, share what you learn, and raise the bar for design around you.

  • You build trust with product and engineering, challenge assumptions, and bring people along even across teams and time zones.

  • You care about the details and know how to make data-rich experiences feel clear, intuitive, and polished.
