Position Description:
Located in the Mesa, Arizona area, the Senior Well-being Program Coordinator (Sr. PC) will work collaboratively with the client’s Health Promotion team and WebMD account team to provide health coaching, increase awareness, engagement, and participation in onsite well-being programs, as well as the WebMD products and services that support them. This position requires regular local travel within approximately a 30-mile radius of the assigned work location, typically 2-3 days per week, to support onsite programming, client needs, meetings, and other business-related activities.
The Sr. PC plays a key role in ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and advocacy. They provide support program planning, assessing impact, and oversee service coordination and promotion. Proactively identifying opportunities for service enhancement and improvement, the Sr. PC collaborates with the client contact and account team to refine processes and develop innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in health coaching, behavior change, health promotion, and/or population health management.
In this role you will:
Deliver health coaching through multiple modalities, including in-person, telephonic, and virtual formats, providing both individual and group coaching sessions.
Represent the well-being program at wellness events, health fairs, and employee engagement activities, promoting individual and group coaching services and connecting employees with available well-being resources and opportunities.
Coordinate and deliver onsite and virtual well-being programs and events, including wellness information tables, presentations, exercise demonstrations, stretch and movement breaks, and other employee engagement activities.
Conduct onsite visits at client locations to lead and demonstrate exercises, educate employees on proper exercise form and technique, and promote safe and effective movement practices.
Create and produce exercise demonstration videos that illustrate proper exercise form, technique, and execution for the client’s internal communications.
Develop and facilitate wellness webinars, presentations, and educational programs that promote healthy behaviors and support employees’ overall health and well-being.
Collaborate with client contacts and internal teams to promote physical activity and exercise education through wellness programs, events, communications, and employee engagement initiatives.
Support the day-to-day implementation and delivery of established well-being programs, working collaboratively with the client and WebMD Health Services account team to ensure effective program execution and employee engagement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts, site contacts at various locations, meeting regularly to understand site-specific needs and support program promotion, implementation, and employee engagement.
Support program evaluation and wellness strategy development by contributing insights, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping inform ongoing program enhancements.
Qualifications, Skills, and experience:
BA / BS in health-related fields required.
Minimum of 2 years of Wellness Coordination or similar health and wellness client-facing experience required.
Ability to travel to various client facilities as needed.
Excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking, presentation, and computer skills.
Familiarity with MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Preferred:
Health Coaching experience.
Strong understanding of behavior change theory.
Professional certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), American College of Sports Medicine, Certified Personal Trainer (ACSM), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Personal Trainer (ACE) or the equivalent certification for a certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, fitness or Personal Training fitness.
Professional Certification from the National Wellness Institute (NWI), the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC), or the equivalent certification
