The Opportunity:
Employed by Webuild, Parklife Metro is seeking a Downstream Senior Contract Administrator to join our team based at Badgerys Creek.
As a Senior Contract Administrator - Downstream, you will be responsible forthe pre and post-contract administration of subcontractor and supplier contracts.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in a site-based or construction administration role
- Coordinate and let contracts to subcontractors and suppliers to maintainthe construction and resources schedule.Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
- Progress claim assistanceand external variations
- Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontracts
- Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
- Administration of RFIs to clients, architectsand consultants
- Manage and administer the subcontractor’s performance against the scope of works and construction program and control authorisation of variations, extensions of time and payments
- Monitor and maintaincost control, forecast revisions, cashflowand project financial reporting
- Develop and expand the knowledge of the commercial team on your project, including taking a lead mentoring role for those participatingin the Contracts Administration Training Development Program
Criteria:
- Tertiary Qualified in Building or Construction Management, Civil Engineeringor relevant field
- 3-5years professional Contract Administration and Procurement experience in the Australian construction industry
- A diligent self-starter who is confident to prepare cost forecasts, cash flow analysis, and assess financial outcomes on complex construction projects, as well as assess supplier and subcontractor claims, and prepare payment schedules
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Good communicationand analytical skills
