We are looking for an experienced AI Engineer / Technology Product Leader to drive the development of AI-powered products and technology solutions within the EdTech and education ecosystem. The role combines technical leadership, AI innovation, product development, academic integration, and team management.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience across AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, data, and product development, along with the ability to translate real-world educational challenges into scalable technology solutions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of AI-powered EdTech and SaaS products.
• Translate academic, business, and institutional requirements into clear technology and product solutions.
• Define product requirements, technical direction, feature priorities, roadmaps, and release plans.
• Guide the development of AI/ML, Generative AI, and LLM-powered features.
• Identify and implement practical AI use cases across learning, teaching, assessment, content generation, analytics, and institutional operations.
• Evaluate AI models, APIs, frameworks, and emerging technologies for potential product applications.
• Guide architecture and technology decisions across SaaS platforms, LMS/ERP integrations, REST APIs, microservices, cloud infrastructure, databases, and analytics systems.
• Work closely with engineering teams to review technical approaches, identify risks, and ensure scalable and reliable solutions.
• Collaborate with academic leaders, teachers, content teams, and students to understand real-world educational needs.
• Support the development of personalized learning, intelligent assessments, AI-generated content, recommendation systems, and education analytics.
• Lead product pilots, gather user feedback, evaluate outcomes, and convert successful solutions into scalable products.
• Establish responsible AI practices with a strong focus on student safety, data privacy, accuracy, security, and ethical AI adoption.
• Build and lead multidisciplinary teams across software engineering, AI/ML, product, UI/UX, data, QA, content, and technical support.
• Define team objectives, KPIs, processes, and performance standards while mentoring and developing team members.
• Improve product development, testing, deployment, documentation, and operational processes.
• Partner with leadership and stakeholders to align technology initiatives with business objectives and growth opportunities.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, software engineering, technology leadership, product development, EdTech, SaaS, or digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Machine Learning, LLMs, and AI APIs.
• Proven experience building, launching, managing, or scaling technology products.
• Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, databases, data analytics, and system scalability.
• Experience translating complex business or user requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering teams and provide clear technical direction.
• Strong understanding of the software product development lifecycle, from concept and MVP through launch and scale.
• Experience leading cross-functional or multidisciplinary teams and managing technology initiatives.
• Strong product thinking with the ability to balance user needs, technical feasibility, business value, and execution speed.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently in an evolving and ambiguous environment.
• Experience in EdTech, K-12 education, LMS, ERP, assessment platforms, personalized learning, or education analytics will be highly advantageous.
• Experience implementing AI-powered products or working with emerging AI technologies will be a strong advantage.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, AI, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
