Weekday is an Indian recruitment company that sources software engineers through referrals from other engineers rather than through job advertisements or agency databases. Its model pays working engineers to vouch for former colleagues they rate, turning informal knowledge about who is genuinely good into a searchable candidate pool that companies can hire from. Based in Bengaluru and backed by Y Combinator, the platform has layered AI screening and outbound sourcing on top of that referral network, and sells to startups and technology companies hiring in the Indian market.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Central Functional Consultant to join a growing professional services team supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations.

Beyond executing implementations, you will help shape consulting methodologies, improve delivery practices, and introduce modern approaches involving AI, automation, and process optimization.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional implementations from discovery through go-live, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment.
  • Serve as a trusted functional advisor to customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Conduct discovery sessions and workshops to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable Business Central solutions.
  • Configure standard Business Central functionality and collaborate with technical teams and implementation partners.
  • Participate in solution design discussions, product demonstrations, project scoping, and customer presentations.
  • Guide customers through complex functional challenges and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Train end users and administrators and develop clear implementation documentation.
  • Support successful project delivery by identifying risks, resolving functional issues, and maintaining strong stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate with internal product, consulting, and customer-facing teams to continuously improve implementation methodologies.
  • Identify recurring customer requirements and provide actionable feedback to product teams.
  • Recommend enhancements, process improvements, automation opportunities, and AI-enabled approaches that improve customer outcomes.
  • Contribute to best practices and help strengthen the capabilities of the broader consulting team.

  • Contribute to the continued growth and evolution of the professional services organization.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, solution design, functional configuration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Excellent customer-facing communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and advising business and executive stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively with implementation partners, developers, product teams, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong consultative approach with the ability to balance customer requirements with scalable solution design.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and ownership of complex customer engagements.
  • Interest in AI, automation, and process improvement, with the ability to identify opportunities to apply modern tools to consulting workflows.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is a plus.
  • Experience with ISV or industry-specific Business Central solutions is an advantage.

Travel

Approximately 20-25% travel, primarily for customer meetings, strategic implementations, workshops, and key project milestones. This is not a road-warrior position.
