We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Manager - Corporate Sales (MICE) to drive business growth through Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) sales. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in corporate sales, client acquisition, relationship management, and event-driven business development. This role requires an individual who can identify new business opportunities, develop long-term corporate relationships, manage key accounts, and deliver customized MICE solutions aligned with client requirements.
The candidate will be responsible for generating revenue from corporate clients, understanding their travel and event requirements, preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution of events and programs.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new corporate clients and expand the existing client portfolio within the MICE segment.
- Generate leads through corporate networks, industry events, referrals, business associations, cold outreach, and other relevant channels.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, prospecting, client meetings, requirement gathering, proposal development, negotiation, closure, and post-event relationship management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate decision-makers, travel managers, HR teams, procurement teams, administrative teams, and event planners.
- Understand client requirements for meetings, conferences, incentive trips, exhibitions, corporate offsites, annual events, product launches, and other business events.
- Prepare customized MICE proposals, itineraries, presentations, and commercial quotations based on client requirements and budgets.
- Coordinate with operations, event management, hospitality, travel, venue, and other internal teams to ensure smooth delivery of confirmed programs.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms while maintaining business profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Manage key corporate accounts and identify opportunities for repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Track sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, client interactions, proposals, and closures using CRM and sales reporting systems.
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, corporate travel patterns, and emerging opportunities within the MICE industry.
- Participate in corporate networking events, trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and industry forums to develop new business relationships.
- Work closely with leadership to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Resolve client concerns professionally and ensure a high level of service throughout the customer lifecycle.
Must-Have Skills
MICE Sales: Strong understanding of Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events sales, including corporate events, incentive travel, conferences, offsites, and group programs.
Corporate Sales: Proven experience in B2B/corporate sales, business development, client acquisition, account management, and revenue generation.
Relationship Management: Ability to build long-term relationships with corporate clients and key decision-makers.
Negotiation & Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong negotiation, presentation, and influencing abilities.
Business Development: Demonstrated ability to identify prospects, generate qualified leads, convert opportunities, and consistently achieve sales targets.
Client & Stakeholder Management: Strong coordination skills to manage clients, vendors, partners, and internal teams throughout the sales and execution process.
Experience
- 3-10 years of relevant experience in MICE Sales, Corporate Sales, Business Development, Corporate Travel, Hospitality, Events, or a related industry.
- Candidates with demonstrated experience handling corporate accounts and closing high-value MICE business will be preferred.
