We are looking for an experienced and proactive Rider Management / Fleet Manager to oversee fleet and rider operations, ensuring efficient deployment, high rider productivity, operational discipline, and excellent service levels. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in fleet management, with the ability to coordinate riders, optimize fleet utilization, monitor operational performance, and resolve day-to-day challenges effectively.

You will be responsible for managing the complete operational lifecycle of the rider fleet, from onboarding and deployment to attendance, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and retention. The role requires strong coordination, analytical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, operations-driven environment.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day fleet operations, ensuring optimal utilization and availability of riders and vehicles.
• Plan and allocate riders across locations, shifts, routes, and operational requirements.
• Monitor rider productivity, attendance, login hours, order/task completion, and overall performance.
• Develop and implement processes to improve fleet efficiency, rider productivity, and operational output.
• Manage rider onboarding, documentation, training, deployment, and operational readiness.
• Coordinate with riders regularly to understand operational challenges and ensure timely resolution.
• Track fleet availability, vehicle utilization, maintenance requirements, and operational downtime.
• Identify gaps in rider availability and proactively plan recruitment or deployment requirements.
• Maintain accurate fleet and rider records, reports, and performance dashboards.
• Monitor key operational metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
• Work closely with internal teams such as Operations, HR, Recruitment, Customer Support, and Finance to ensure smooth fleet operations.
• Handle rider grievances, escalations, attendance issues, and disciplinary matters professionally.
• Identify recurring operational issues and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable safety standards.
• Support initiatives focused on rider engagement, retention, productivity, and satisfaction.

Must-Have Skills

• Fleet Management
• Strong understanding of fleet operations and day-to-day field operations.
• Experience managing a large or distributed rider/driver workforce.
• Strong operational planning and resource allocation skills.
• Ability to track and improve productivity, utilization, attendance, and operational KPIs.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and operational reporting.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple operational priorities.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Rider Management
• Experience in last-mile delivery, logistics, mobility, e-commerce, or hyperlocal operations.
• Familiarity with rider onboarding, engagement, retention, and incentive programs.
• Experience handling rider grievances and escalations.
• Knowledge of fleet tracking or rider management platforms.
• Understanding of route optimization and workforce scheduling.
• Experience working with data-driven operational dashboards.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operations professional who can effectively manage people, processes, and fleet resources. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, making quick operational decisions, analyzing performance data, and maintaining strong relationships with riders and internal stakeholders.

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related field is preferred, along with 3-6 years of relevant experience in fleet, logistics, rider, or field operations management.
