We are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead large-scale SAP S/4HANA and Cloud implementation programs from planning and execution through testing, cutover, deployment, and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP program and project management, with the ability to coordinate complex functional, technical, compliance, data, testing, and third-party workstreams. The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, risk and change management, and a structured approach to delivering enterprise SAP transformations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA and Cloud implementation programs across planning, execution, testing, deployment, and post-go-live phases.
• Manage large-scale SAP ERP projects involving multiple functional, technical, compliance, and third-party workstreams.
• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, governance structures, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate project activities across SAP functional and technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Lead scope, risk, issue, dependency, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define and oversee comprehensive testing strategies, including test planning, execution, defect management, and readiness assessments.
• Take responsibility for test management and cutover management for SAP S/4HANA and Cloud implementations.
• Develop detailed cutover plans and coordinate activities required for successful production deployment.
• Coordinate data migration activities and ensure appropriate business and technical readiness.
• Manage release planning and deployment activities, particularly for cloud-based SAP solutions.
• Ensure project documentation, status reporting, governance updates, and management communications are maintained accurately.
• Coordinate post-go-live activities, hypercare, issue resolution, and transition to support teams.
• Ensure project execution aligns with applicable GxP practices, quality requirements, and organisational standards.
• Apply appropriate Waterfall, Agile, or Hybrid project management methodologies based on program requirements.
• Monitor delivery progress, identify risks and delays, and drive timely corrective actions.
• Manage senior stakeholders and ensure effective communication across business, technology, compliance, and external teams.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 10+ years of experience in SAP project, program, or implementation management, with strong experience leading enterprise-scale initiatives.
• Proven experience managing multiple SAP S/4HANA and Cloud Technology implementations.
• Strong understanding of large-scale ERP program delivery and SAP implementation methodologies.
• Hands-on experience as a Test Manager and/or Cutover Manager for SAP S/4HANA or Cloud implementations.
• Strong knowledge of testing strategy, test execution, defect management, release management, and production readiness.
• Proven experience in cutover planning, execution, data migration, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Strong understanding of scope, risk, issue, dependency, and change management.
• Experience working with Waterfall, Agile, and/or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Knowledge of GxP practices and regulated implementation environments.
• Experience coordinating functional, technical, compliance, business, and third-party teams.
• Strong project governance, documentation, reporting, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex project dependencies in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
• Pharma or life sciences industry experience would be an advantage.
