Work Arrangement - Onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:30 PM
Weekends: Typically off, with occasional Saturdays during peak periods (Oct-Dec).

What You'll Do
- Inventory Management: Identify, sort, label, document, and organize urethane molds and cores to maintain an accurate and efficient inventory system. This is a hands-on role that requires working directly with inventory in a manufacturing environment.
- Inventory Lifecycle Decisions: Review sales history and usage data to recommend when molds and cores should be retained, stored, or retired.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Production, Planning, Shop Leadership, and Operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and inventory accuracy.
- Documentation & Recordkeeping: Maintain records, spreadsheets, databases, and operational documentation related to molds, cores, and inventory processes.
- Operational Support: Assist the Operations Supervisor with daily activities and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and workflow.
- Quality Support: Help ensure molds and related inventory meet quality standards and support consistent product builds.
- Safety First: Demonstrate a strong commitment to Weir's Zero Harm safety culture and follow all safety procedures.
- Physical & Environmental Readiness: Work in a manufacturing/shop environment where molds may be dirty, dusty, sticky, or heavy. Use cranes and forklifts safely and effectively after training.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, machine shop, or inventory-related environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
- Ability to accurately use a tape measure and understand fractions and measurements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or machine shop environments.
- Familiarity with micrometers and calipers.
- Basic computer skills, including data entry and inventory software.
- Forklift and crane experience, or willingness to complete company-provided training and certification.
