Client Executive
The Client Executive is the single point of accountability for Welby Health’s largest and most strategic customer relationships. In this position, you will translate account-level insights into scalable solutions, proactively addressing billing, enrollment, and provider adoption barriers while shaping multi-year strategic priorities in partnership with health system Chief Medical Officers, Chief Operating Officers, and physician enterprise leadership.
As a Client Executive at Welby Health, you will own the economic performance, strategic growth, and overall health of your accounts, with accountability across clinical outcomes, contract performance, billing integrity, and patient and provider engagement. Furthermore, you will navigate complex health system dynamics to align executive, clinical, and operational stakeholders around sustainable growth, measurable outcomes, and long-term partnership value.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the strategic health, growth, and financial performance of a portfolio of Welby Health’s largest and most strategic accounts, with accountability for retention, expansion, and long-term value creation
- Develop and execute joint strategic roadmaps with client leadership, aligning Welby Health’s clinical, financial, and operational capabilities to enterprise priorities and measurable outcomes
- Translate account performance data into actionable insights, identifying enrollment, provider adoption, operational, billing, and data integrity gaps and driving corrective action before they impact client outcomes
- Develop quantified growth strategies across each account, identifying opportunities to expand across provider groups, sites of care, patient populations, and service lines
- Own account economics, revenue performance, and margin visibility, ensuring sustainable growth and value realization for both Welby Health and its provider partners
- Build trusted relationships with executive leadership and physician enterprise leaders, serving as a strategic advisor across clinical, financial, operational, and organizational priorities
- Lead executive business reviews and strategic planning conversations with clear performance narratives, actionable insights, and defined growth opportunities
- Navigate complex health system structures and stakeholder dynamics to build alignment, accelerate adoption, and sustain program performance
- Orchestrate cross-functional execution across multiple departments to deliver a coordinated client experience and resolve issues before escalation
- Ensure account execution remains aligned with contractual, clinical, financial, quality, and compliance requirements, proactively identifying and remediating risk
- Translate Welby Health’s clinical performance into measurable client value, including improved quality outcomes, reimbursement, cost management, and total cost of care
- Convert high-performing accounts into strategic proof points, case studies, and referenceable partnerships that support broader growth and expansion
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of seven (7) years experience in account management, client success, commercial leadership, or a related discipline, with demonstrated ownership of complex, strategic accounts
- Experience managing senior relationships across health systems, large medical groups, Federally Qualified Health Centers, or comparable provider organizations
- Strong understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement, revenue cycle, and the financial drivers that influence provider organizations
- Demonstrated experience managing contracts, commercial performance, billing accuracy, and compliance within client relationships
- Executive presence with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate complex conversations, and drive alignment across competing priorities
- Proven ability to operate across strategic and operational levels, translating enterprise priorities into disciplined execution
- Demonstrated ability to build structure and drive results in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with limited established playbooks
- Track record of owning measurable commercial outcomes, including account expansion, upsell, revenue growth, or net revenue retention, within healthcare or a healthcare-adjacent environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience in chronic care management, remote patient monitoring, value-based care, population health, or related healthcare models
- Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial reimbursement, including chronic care management, advanced primary care management, remote patient monitoring, and annual wellness visit programs
- Experience owning expansion targets or commercial growth within strategic or enterprise healthcare accounts, with a demonstrated track record of land-and-expand growth
- Approximately two (2) or more years of experience managing teams or leading cross-functional initiatives
- Proficiency with HubSpot, Slack, Google Workspace, and other modern tools supporting client management and cross-functional execution
