About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Sales Representativeto support and grow existing accounts while actively developing new business opportunities.
This is a relationship-driven B2B sales rolewith a clear career path into more strategic or senior sales positions within 12-18 months. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their needs and connect them with technical solutions that deliver real value.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and internal teams
- Develop a strong understanding of Welker’s products and technical capabilities
- Provide solution-based recommendations aligned with customer needs
- Manage and track sales opportunities from lead to closeusing ERP system (Oracle JD Edwards)
- Follow up consistently on quotes, leads, and open opportunities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and customer service teams
- Meet or exceed individual sales and growth targets
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field or4+ years of direct sales experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable engaging with customers via phone, email, and in-person
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general CRM/ERP systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or oil & gas sales
- Technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain mechanical or engineered products
- Experience with ERP systems(Oracle JD Edwards or similar)
