Junior Civil Engineer
Position Overview
A reputable employer is seeking a motivated and ambitious Junior Civil Engineer to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate who has completed a Civil Engineering degree and is eager to gain practical industry experience while developing their technical skills. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced professionals on civil engineering projects, gaining exposure to design, planning, infrastructure development, and site-related activities. Duties & Responsibilities Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or BEng/BTech Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Recently graduated or fresh out of university.
• No previous work experience required.
• Basic knowledge of civil engineering principles and design practices.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and organisational abilities.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, and develop professionally.
• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare and update engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.
• Assist with the design of roads, stormwater systems, water and sewer infrastructure, and earthworks.
• Conduct site inspections and assist with monitoring project progress.
• Assist with measurements, calculations, technical assessments, and reports.
• Liaise with engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure that designs and project documentation comply with relevant engineering standards and specifications.
• Support senior engineers with project planning, coordination, and problem-solving.
• Gain practical experience in engineering design, project execution, and site supervision.
