The Mission

West Code is hiring experienced Business Analysts for technology projects with banks, investment firms and other financial-services organisations. We are looking for people who can work confidently between business and technology and turn complex financial processes into requirements that engineering teams can actually deliver.

Depending on the project, you may support banking transformation, investment-banking platforms, risk, regulatory change, onboarding, lending, cards, process automation, data initiatives or other business-critical technology programmes.

What You’ll Work On

• gathering and analysing business and functional requirements

• translating business needs into clear delivery-ready requirements

• process mapping, gap analysis and impact assessment

• working with Product Owners, engineering teams, architects and business stakeholders

• creating user stories, acceptance criteria and structured documentation

• analysing dependencies across systems, processes and teams

• supporting solution design and implementation decisions

• clarifying requirements throughout delivery and supporting UAT / acceptance where required

• helping maintain alignment between business decisions, documentation and implementation

Must Have

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience

• commercial experience in banking, investment banking, fintech or another financial-services environment

• strong requirements analysis and process-modelling skills

• experience working closely with IT / engineering teams

• ability to communicate with both business and technical stakeholders

• Jira and Confluence or similar tools

• strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• good English

• ability to work independently with senior stakeholders

Strong Advantage

• investment banking, capital markets or risk projects

• core banking, lending, cards or digital banking

• AML / KYC, onboarding or regulatory change

• data, AI or process-automation initiatives

• API-based systems and complex integrations

• BPMN, UML or other formal modelling approaches

• experience with large transformation programmes or international banking organisations

• remote or hybrid work depending on the project

• close cooperation with business and engineering stakeholders

• international environments with English used on most projects

B2B Rate

120–170 PLN/h + VAT

Final rate depends on seniority, domain experience and project scope.
