The Senior Software Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications across both front-end and back-end technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership in solution design, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that deliver exceptional digital experiences.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications and integration solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring system stability and participating in after-hours support when required.
- Ensure best practice in API design, coding standards, performance and security.
- Collaborate with project teams from concept through delivery to ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and peers.
- Create and maintain documentation throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to support transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Implement changes aligned with design specifications and evolving business needs.
- Analyse recurring issues and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Maintain and refine support procedures to ensure resilience and minimize downtime.
- Contribute to release and deployment processes, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with governance standards.
- Implement automated testing and ensure high-quality code through code reviews and continuous integration practices.

We value attitude and presence as highly as technical expertise. You will also need to demonstrate exceptional influencing and communication skills, with the ability to use appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to guide individuals toward fast and effective outcomes.
- At least 7+ years’ experience across backend and API development.
- Proficiency with server-side development - Java, Spring Boot.
- Experienced in designing and maintaining integrations with a wide variety of applications and APIs.
- Experience in DevOps such as CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and deployment automation.
- Strong knowledge of database schema design, transactions and queries.
