このポジションについて

当社のデジタルプラットフォーム全体における品質エンジニアリングの構築・推進、およびチームの指導・育成を担う「リードクオリティエンジニア」を募集しています。テスト自動化、システムの信頼性、拡張性の高いアーキテクチャの構築に強い重点を置いていただきます。

バックエンドサービス、API、ユーザー向けシステムにおける自動テストのカバー率構築・維持の技術的方針を主導し、組織内に品質重視のカルチャーを醸成する役割です。ID統合、決済システム、イベント＆ゲストプラットフォーム、アクセス制御統合など、現在進行中の複数の変革イニシアチブを成功に導く重要なポジションとなります。

本ポジションのミッション:

• クオリティエンジニアリング機能をリードし、技術方針の策定およびチーム目標の設定を行う
• テクニカルスキル、キャリア開発、専門性の向上においてクオリティエンジニアを指導・育成（メンター）する
• 自動テストフレームワークの全体戦略の策定および導入を推進する
• エンジニアリングリードやプロダクトマネージャーと連携し、開発ライフサイクルの中心に品質を組み込む
• エンジニアリングチーム全体にわたり、拡張可能で標準化された品質基準とプロセスを確立・適用する

• Quality Engineerチームに対する技術的リーダーシップとメンターシップの提供（ベストプラクティス、技術力、キャリア開発の指導）
• Quality Engineeringロードマップおよび品質戦略全体の策定・オーナーシップ・実行
• 自動テストスイート（API、インテグレーション、UI）の設計・開発・保守を統括
• 複数のフィーチャーチームにわたるテストプロセスおよびツールの継続的改善の牽引
• エンジニアリングマネージャーと連携し、ソフトウェア開発ライフサイクル全体に品質プラクティスを統合
• 品質メトリクス・レポーティングの管理、プロダクト品質および技術的負債の可視化
• CI／CDパイプラインへの自動テスト統合の成功およびクオリティゲートの維持を確保
• テスト戦略およびドキュメント基準への貢献
• リリースバリデーションおよび本番環境検証プロセスの統括

必要とされる経験&スキル

• ソフトウェアテストまたはQuality Engineering領域での実務経験6年以上（技術的リーダーシップまたはメンターシップの経験を含む）
• 技術的イニシアチブを牽引し、エンジニアリングチームに影響を与え、クオリティエンジニアを育成・指導できる能力
• テスト自動化フレームワークに関する豊富な経験
• RESTful APIおよびバックエンドサービスのテスト経験

About the role:

We’re looking for a Lead Quality Engineer to guide, mentor, and drive quality engineering across our digital platforms, with a strong focus on test automation, system reliability, and scalable architecture.

You will own the technical direction for building and maintaining automated test coverage across backend services, APIs, and user-facing systems, while championing a culture of quality. This role is critical in supporting multiple concurrent transformation initiatives, including identity integration, payment systems, events and guest platforms, and access control integrations.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the Quality Engineering function, defining technical direction and setting team goals.
• Mentor and coach Quality Engineers on technical skills, professional development, and career growth.
• Drive the overall strategy and implementation of automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and product managers to ensure quality is a core component of the development lifecycle.
• Establish and enforce scalable quality standards and processes across engineering teams.

This is an opportunity to shape a mature automation strategy in a fast-evolving engineering environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Quality Engineers, guiding best practices, technical skills, and career development.
• Define, own, and drive the execution of the Quality Engineering technical roadmap and overall quality strategy.
• Architect, design, and maintain scalable automated test suites (API, integration, and UI).
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools across multiple feature teams.
• Partner with Engineering Managers and Tech Leads to embed quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Track quality metrics, report on test coverage, and provide clear visibility into product quality and technical debt.
• Ensure the successful integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and uphold quality gates.
• Contribute to test strategy and documentation standards.
• Oversee release validation and production verification processes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and planning discussions.

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

• 6+ years of professional experience in software testing or quality engineering, with demonstrated experience in technical leadership or mentoring roles.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, influence engineering teams, and mentor quality engineers.
• Strong experience with test automation frameworks.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
• Ability to design structured and maintainable test cases.
• Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail.
• Business level English communication skills.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with frontend automation testing tools.
• Experience testing payment or financial systems.
• Familiarity with Laravel-based systems.
• Familiarity with Flutter apps, Web, iOS and Android.
• Experience with performance or load testing.
• Knowledge of contract testing strategies.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for test case generation or coverage analysis.
• Business level Japanese communication skills.
