About the Role

The Client Solutions team specializes in developing bespoke workplace strategies that address intricate client challenges, serving as a critical nexus between Sales and project design & delivery. As the primary technical interface during the sales lifecycle, this team ensures that every committed solution is feasible, realistic, and aligned with delivery capabilities. The successful candidate will likely bring a background in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Commercial Real Estate, possessing a deep understanding of AEC industry standards while remaining adaptable to evolving methodologies. This role requires a consultative mindset for technical selling, involving the management of competing priorities to drive business conversion and foster client urgency.

This is a high-ownership role suited to someone who combines commercial thinking, design expertise and client leadership. The successful candidate should be comfortable moving between a CXO-level client discussion, a workplace test-fit, a commercial review and a technical discussion with a D&B partner - while maintaining a clear view of the overall business objective. The role requires a consultative mindset rather than a purely technical or project-management approach, with the ability to understand the client's business problem, develop the right solution, influence stakeholders and take accountability for the outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Enterprise Solutioning & Technical Sales

  • Partner with Sales and Enterprise teams to understand client business objectives, workplace strategy, headcount, operational requirements and timelines.

  • Translate client requirements into customised workplace and fit-out solutions aligned with WeWork's product capabilities.

  • Lead technical discussions with clients and provide consultative inputs throughout the sales cycle.

  • Develop solution options, test-fits, high-level design concepts and technical narratives to support deal conversion.

  • Identify opportunities to optimise solutions based on cost, time, quality, experience and operational requirements.

2. Due Diligence & Feasibility

  • Lead preliminary site and project due diligence to identify key technical, commercial and operational risks.

  • Assess existing building infrastructure, MEP, technology, access, life safety, demolition and other site-specific constraints.

  • Identify potential impacts on project budget, programme and quality at an early stage.

  • Develop mitigation strategies and align internal stakeholders before commitments are made to the client.

  • Participate in site walks and provide clients with practical guidance on available solutions and constraints.

3. Commercial & Project Planning

  • Support development of initial project budgets, estimates and commercial assumptions.

  • Understand lease and building-related constraints and incorporate them into solution development.

  • Support preliminary project scheduling and identify critical dependencies.

  • Balance client expectations with project feasibility and WeWork's commercial objectives.

  • Ensure that proposed solutions are realistic, deliverable and aligned with agreed commercial parameters.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key client-facing representative throughout the solutioning and pre-construction process.

  • Build strong relationships with enterprise clients, CRE leaders, workplace teams and senior decision-makers.

  • Clearly communicate technical considerations, trade-offs, risks and recommendations.

  • Work closely with Sales, Real Estate, Design, Project Management, Procurement, D&B partners and other internal teams.

  • Create alignment across stakeholders and drive timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.

5. Design & Delivery Interface

  • Translate client requirements and agreed solutions into clear inputs for Design and Project Delivery teams.

  • Review layouts, design proposals, specifications and project documentation for alignment with client requirements.

  • Maintain continuity between the solution sold and the solution delivered.

  • Participate in regular site reviews and project progress discussions where required.

  • Support resolution of design, technical and execution challenges during project delivery.

6. Portfolio & Business Management

  • Manage multiple opportunities and projects simultaneously across different scales and stages.

  • Prioritise opportunities based on business impact, urgency and probability of closure.

  • Maintain accurate project and pipeline reporting for leadership.

  • Identify recurring challenges and opportunities to improve Client Solutions processes.

  • Contribute to new initiatives, standardisation, solution frameworks and tools that improve speed and quality of delivery.

  • Monthly and periodic business reporting on ongoing deals, revenue management.

Education and Desired Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will bring 8-12+ years of relevant experience across architecture, workplace strategy, project management, interior fit-out, design management, commercial real estate or related AEC disciplines.

  • A background in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or Project Management is preferred, with demonstrated experience in corporate workplace or enterprise fit-out environments.

  • Strong understanding of workplace planning, interior fit-out, MEP, technology and building infrastructure.

  • Demonstrated experience working directly with enterprise or large corporate clients.

  • Ability to lead client conversations and influence senior stakeholders.

  • Strong commercial understanding of project budgets, timelines and delivery constraints.

  • Experience translating business requirements into practical workplace solutions.

  • Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously.

  • Strong presentation, communication and storytelling skills.

  • Experience collaborating with Sales, Design, Procurement, Real Estate and D&B teams.

  • Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working with ambiguity.

  • Ability to operate independently while influencing stakeholders within a matrix organisation.

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and other project/data management platforms.

  • Strong people leadership skills to manage & align direct team members as well as influence other teams to deliver the desired outcomes.
