This role in summary
Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for a KitchenAid Quality Senior Analyst. This role is onsite at our St.Joseph Tech Center in Michigan.
This KitchenAid Quality Sr. Analyst owns the quality systems behind the metrics consumers actually feel across the Small Appliances portfolio, including our iconic stand mixer: TCQ, SIR, 5-Star, and % 1 & 2-Star.
Based at our Global Headquarters in Saint Joseph MI, you will be working directly with regional quality peers, Greenville manufacturing, global project teams, and OEM partners where your analysis and problem solving directly shape product improvement projects and business commitments.
Your responsibilities will include
Lead proactive product quality improvements through a systematic approach, using data from manufacturing, OEM, and field sources
Respond to emerging quality issues with rapid root cause analysis, containment, and resolution
Own the 5-Star, 1 & 2-Star, and SIR workstreams and business commitments across the portfolio, with direct focus on the iconic stand mixer.
Serve as communication lead for regional quality issues, informing impacted partners locally and globally, quickly and clearly
Partner with EPI and Model Line project teams to embed quality requirements, field test support, and lessons learned into product improvement projects
Identify warranty recovery opportunities and translate the impact for GSS and Global Quality
Act as the first technical contact for regional KASA and core teams, and engage the KASA leadership team to drive standard quality processes and shape regional strategy
Minimum requirements
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of experience working in one of the following: Quality, Product design, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Supplier Quality
Preferred skills and experiences
Black Belt or other lean / continuous improvement certification
Experience working in a dynamic environment with matrix reporting lines
Excellent project management skills
Strong analytical skills and business acumen
Ability to communicate and drive high-level agreement globally with cross-team and cross-functional partners
Knowledge of SAP
- Strong sense of accountability and personal commitment
