The team you will be a part of
You will be part of the Finance Shared Services team for the Latin America North (LARN) region based in Monterrey, Mexico, a high-impact unit responsible for maintaining operational excellence, strong internal controls, and end-to-end accounting processes that support the organization’s financial health and strategic growth.
This role in summary
The Senior Finance Manager oversees Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) operations for the LARN region, leading a team of 14 while ensuring robust internal controls, legal entity consolidation, and accurate financial reporting. The purpose of this role is to drive working capital efficiency, ensure audit compliance, and guide the team through process transformation initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include
- Manage a team of 14 finance professionals, including 4 direct reports, fostering professional growth, performance, and continuous development across the department.
- Manage third-party team to complete back-office activities
- Ensure adequate internal controls for all AR and AP processes to safeguard assets and comply with corporate and regional guidelines.
- Direct the completion and consolidation of legal entities across the LARN region, ensuring accounting integrity and timely month-end closes.
- Publish financial reports, metrics and variance analysis related to AR and AP to provide leadership with actionable operational insights.
- Approve monthly bank reconciliations and manage corporate credit card controls, including approving requests to increase, decrease, or remove cards.
- Approve monthly AR, AP, currency variance and general ledger reconciliations
- Review, approve, and reconcile AR factoring initiatives to optimize working capital and cash flow predictability.
- Approve bank and financials daily operations in the portals
- Support internal/external audits, special projects, systems implementations, and operational transformation efforts across the region.
- Control and forecast Working Capital (Days Payable Outstanding and Days Sales Outstanding) of the different entities around the region
- Develop team and drive followership through strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks/deadlines while dealing with ambiguity
- Adhere to applicable department and professional standards.

Minimum requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
- 5+ years of experience in audit, accounting or finance
- Fluent in both Spanish and English
Preferred skills and experiences
- Experience working within a Shared Services Center (SSC) or centralized back-office environment
- Proven leadership experience managing teams of 10 or more employees
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or relevant master’s degree (MBA/Finance)
- Demonstrated experience leading process improvement, automation, or financial transformation projects
- Professional presence and proven ability to lead teams and influence decision-making
- Ability to interact & collaborate across different functions and all levels of the organization
- Achievement oriented with the ability to work autonomously and make daily decisions
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- System proficiency: SAP, Business Objects, BW, Tableau
- System/Tool proficiency: Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and google tools (sheets & slides)
