The team you will be a part of
The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.
This role in summary
Responsible for supporting in improvement of Fluid and Thermal performance of Products/Projects through CFD Simulations
Your responsibilities will include
Technical Expertise:
Proficient in component/subsystem/system level Pre Processing tool (Ansys Workbench /CCM+/Spaceclaim /Creo etc )
Proficient in Flow simulation of component/subsystem level using any one of CFD tools (Fluent /Star CCM/Openfoam)
Proficient in Thermal simulation of component/subsystem level using any one of CFD tools (Fluent /Star CCM/Openfoam)
Required Technical Experience:
Should have Good knowledge of CFD fundamentals
Should be able to prepare the simplified CAD models required.
Define the mesh attributes and assign the required boundary conditions
Perform the CFD simulations, analyze the results, prepare proper reports with appropriate conclusions and suggestions to improve the product performance.
Hands on experience on flow and thermal problems.
Good knowledge of Engineering fundamentals of Thermodynamics, Fluid dynamics, and Heat transfer
Should be able to handle projects in the area of Fluid Flow and Heat transfer
Good Results interpretation skills.
Critical thinking for effectively approaching to conclusions
Minimum requirements
Education:
M.tech from Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace Engineering.
Experience: 2-4 Years
Responsibilities:
Translate Simulation Requests, Physical Problems into Numerical Models.
Prepare the plan for simulation activities and align the simulation strategy with the requester
Execute CFD Simulation projects as an individual contributor
Establishing correlations and validations at Component/Subsystems Level
Good in problem solving
Have effective communication, aligned with the project requirement.
Provide design solutions based on simulations.

Patents/ Research / External presentations :
Rigor to publish/present papers in Technical Forums
Technical rigor for patent filing and desirable to have patents
Knowledge Management :
Open in sharing knowledge and thoughts
Proactive knowledge documentation and sharing within and outside stakeholders
TECHNICAL
Knowledge of Fluid & Thermal Science .
Knowledge of CFD fundamentals
Basic understanding flow and thermal Measurement Data
Proficiency in Simulation tools like Fluent/Star CCM/Openfoam
Results interpretation skills.
