Junior Data Analytics Engineer

The Junior Data Analytics Engineer supports the Data Analytics Engineer in building, maintaining, and monitoring the dashboards that

give Admiral International Gaming Corporation visibility into system performance, ticket purchase demographics, and ticket winners.

This role works under the guidance and direction of the Data Analytics Engineer.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist the Data Analytics Engineer in building and maintaining dashboards showing system performance analytics, including

network connectivity, outlets with network issues, terminal uptime and downtime, and any other relevant statistics.

• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards showing ticket purchase demographics, including tickets sold daily, revenue

generated, and a heatmap of ticket purchases, and any other relevant statistics.

• Assist in building and maintaining dashboards showing ticket winner analytics, including the number of winners, amounts

won, prize amounts disbursed, and a heatmap of winners, and any other relevant statistics.

• Carry out assigned monitoring of the dashboards, including network performance analytics, and flag issues to the Data

Analytics Engineer as soon as possible to help ensure 24/7 uptime of the system.

• Prepare data and draft the daily, weekly, and monthly reports for the review of the Data Analytics Engineer.
• Check dashboard and report figures against the source data, and report any discrepancies to the Data Analytics Engineer.
• Keep documentation of dashboards, queries, and alert rules, and handover notes, up to date for the work assigned.
• Provide monitoring coverage as scheduled, and when the Data Analytics Engineer is unavailable, following the handover

notes and escalation procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or monitoring (recent graduates are welcome to apply).
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database (DB) querying.
• Willingness to learn and to work under the guidance of senior engineers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or project experience building dashboards and data visualizations, including geographic heatmaps.
• Familiarity with system and network monitoring tools.
• Interest in regulated industries such as gaming, fintech, or banking.
