About the role
A European AI and video intelligence company is hiring a Business Development Lead to lead commercial development across the Baltics.
This role is for someone who is already embedded in the local market and understands the surveillance, security, and public-sector ecosystem across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The company needs someone who already knows the right people, can get to the right entities fast, and can turn market access into qualified opportunities and signed business.
What you will do
- Lead business development across Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia.
- Build relationships with relevant stakeholders across defence, law enforcement, public sector, critical infrastructure, and security.
- Identify and engage the right organisations, buyers, operational teams, procurement contacts, and local partners.
- Generate qualified opportunities and build a strong regional pipeline.
- Present video intelligence and surveillance solutions to relevant decision-makers.
- Support pilot projects, commercial discussions, and partnership development.
- Work closely with internal leadership and technical teams to move opportunities forward.
- Share market feedback on customer needs, competitors, procurement dynamics, and local priorities.
- Represent the company in the market and help build a long-term commercial presence in the Baltics.
What they are looking for
This role requires someone with real surveillance-sector experience and strong local market access.
Required profile:
- Proven business development or commercial experience in video surveillance, security technology, video analytics, physical security, or a closely related field.
- Strong local market knowledge across the Baltics.
- Existing relationships with relevant organisations and stakeholders in Lithuania, Latvia, and/or Estonia.
- Ability to reach the right decision-makers quickly, ideally within one or two calls.
- Experience selling into or working with defence, police, border security, public sector, critical infrastructure, or similar security-driven environments.
- Strong understanding of local procurement and commercial decision-making.
- Fluent English.
- At least one local Baltic language is required.
This is not a fit for a generalist BD profile without surveillance exposure. It is also not a fit for someone with only defence background if they do not have relevant video, surveillance, or security technology experience.
