ABOUT TECSIDE

Tecside is a national recruitment and labour hire group, founded in 2006 and headquartered in South Perth, with

offices across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia, plus an international

footprint. Tecside recruits across manufacturing, transport and logistics, energy and resources, construction, mining

and defence, working with clients on both permanent placements and contract/labour hire.

the Brisbane team runs largely independently of Perth, Sydney and the other offices.

The Brisbane office is led by David Cooper, and its core business is light industrial staffing on the south side of

Brisbane - forklift operators, process workers and production labourers - supplied on contract to a well-established

client base. The office is actively expanding into fabrication (mechanical fitters, boilermakers, welders) and into

construction and civil work (electricians, labourers, plant operators, carpenters, steel fixers).

The Sydney office is led by Kate Radwell, and its team is split across two specialisms: light industrial and trades. This

role sits on the light industrial side of the desk - warehousing (forklift operators and pick/pack staff), manufacturing

(steel work such as sheet metal and reinforcing bar) and assembly - supplied on contract to Tecside's Sydney client

base. Around 60% of Tecside's clients sit in temp and contract work, including large-scale, high-volume accounts.

THE ROLE

As Offshore Recruitment Resourcer, you'll be the dedicated sourcing and screening resource for the Brisbane light

industrial and fabrication desk, working full-cycle to build and maintain a pipeline of qualified, work-ready candidates

for Tecside's Brisbane clients.

Core responsibilities

• Source and screen candidates for high-volume light industrial roles - forklift operators, process workers,

production labourers and warehouse staff - across Seek, Tecside's own database and Seek Talent Search.

• Build and maintain a live, qualified candidate pipeline for the south Brisbane geographic patch, so the desk always

has vetted candidates ready to put forward.

• Run initial phone/video screening ahead of client interviews, confirming availability, right-to-work, ticketing and

geographic fit.

• Coordinate interview scheduling directly with the Brisbane recruiting consultant, working to a daily cadence of

qualified candidates delivered into the desk.

• Keep JobAdder up to date as the single source of truth - candidate records, registration status and interview

outcomes.

• As the desk expands into fabrication and construction, extend sourcing into trades such as boilermakers, welders,

mechanical fitters, electricians and steel fixers.

WHAT TECSIDE IS LOOKING FOR (one for each location)

• Recruitment or resourcing experience, ideally in blue collar, industrial or high-volume contract staffing.
• Comfortable working at pace - this is a high-volume desk with a daily delivery cadence, not a slow-burn search

process.

• Strong candidate screening instincts: confirming availability, right-to-work, tickets/licences and genuine fit before

a candidate goes to Jamie.

• A proactive, organised approach to pipeline building - keeping warm candidates engaged even when there isn't

an immediate role for them.

• Comfortable picking up new CRM and sourcing tools quickly; JobAdder and Seek experience is a plus but not

essential.

• Clear, professional communication - you'll be representing Tecside directly to candidates.
