What You’ll Do

As a Mechanical Engineering Intern, you will support our engineering group with real design work, meaningful documentation improvements, and high-impact product development tasks that integrate directly into our production workflow.

Key Responsibilities

CAD Database Management

• Audit, organize, and modernize our existing CAD library to ensure engineering accuracy and reduce retrieval and reference issues.

Blueprint Updates & Redlines

• Apply redline corrections to mechanical drawings, ensuring our documentation reflects the current state of production and engineering changes.

Component Design

• Create 3D models and production-ready 2D drawings for some products, contributing directly to thermal and electrical subsystem development.

Drafting Quality & Standards Enforcement

• Review mechanical drawings for consistency, accuracy, GD&T use, and formatting-serving as the initial compliance checkpoint before final engineering approval.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or comparable 3D CAD software
• Strong understanding of technical drawing standards, orthographic projection, and GD&T
• High attention to detail and a passion for engineering accuracy
