Role Responsibilities
The Full Stack Engineer will be engaged in developing comprehensive applications for Wintermute's new trading solutions, both external client interfaces and internal tools. Responsibilities encompass designing and implementing backend services, modeling and sharing trading and market data, and constructing front-end components. An exciting aspect of this role involves contributing to the development and execution of platforms from inception, ensuring a cohesive customer journey experience at various lifecycle stages.
Close collaboration with cross-functional teams at Wintermute - spanning product, marketing, trading, and engineering divisions - allows for a holistic understanding of high-performance application development, system architecture, and algorithmic cryptocurrency trading dynamics.
Requirements
- Professional experience exceeding 5 years in software development involving both backend and frontend aspects.
- Proficiency in backend engineering, preferably with expertise in Go and/or Python for designing and implementing services and APIs.
- Strong grasp of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js, or equivalent frameworks.
- Familiarity with financial or professional services products targeted towards clients, with fintech or crypto domain knowledge considered a bonus.
- Sound understanding of infrastructure components and major cloud platforms like AWS.
- Experience in relational databases, secure coding practices, and integrating frontend-backend operations effectively.
