Overview
Wintermute is a London-based algorithmic trading firm founded in 2017 and one of the largest liquidity providers in digital assets. It quotes continuously on more than fifty centralised exchanges and across decentralised venues, runs a large over-the-counter desk for institutional counterparties, and handles a meaningful share of daily global crypto volume. Beyond market making the firm invests in and incubates blockchain projects through Wintermute Ventures, supports token launches with liquidity provision, and builds infrastructure that brings traditional financial institutions into on-chain markets.
