Job Title: Executive Driver

Location: Bodija - Ibadan, Oyo

Reports To: CEO

Job Description

• The role requires a disciplined, punctual, trustworthy, and highly responsible individual who understands confidentiality, professionalism, and time management.
• The Executive Driver will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, and professional driving services to the Executive (CEO) and for handling official errands and logistics duties during work hours.

Work Days:

• Flexibility may be required based on official engagements.
• Monday to Saturday (as determined by CEO's schedule)

Key Responsibilities
Driving & Executive Support:

• Maintain professionalism, courtesy, and discretion while on duty.
• Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off at all times.
• Remain available and on standby during official outings until duties are concluded.
• Drive the Executive to and from work, meetings, official functions, and other approved engagements.

Official Errands & Logistics:

• Ensure all errands are completed promptly, accurately, and responsibly.
• Carry out official running-around duties during work hours, including document deliveries, pickups, bank errands, office-related logistics, and other assigned tasks.
• Assist with transportation of official items, packages, or equipment as required.
• Perform inter-state trips when the need arise

Vehicle Care & Maintenance:

• Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, water, brakes, tires, and cleanliness).
• Promptly report any faults, damages, or maintenance needs.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, neat, and roadworthy at all times.
• Ensure timely servicing, maintenance, and renewal of vehicle documents.

Safety & Compliance:

• Drive responsibly and strictly obey traffic laws and road regulations.
• Avoid reckless driving, phone use while driving, or unsafe conduct.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding movements, conversations, and official matters.
• Ensure the safety of the Executive, passengers, and items at all times.

Expected Conduct & Work Ethics:

• Must follow instructions strictly and carry out assignments diligently.
• Must resume promptly daily without excuses.
• Must be respectful, calm, and well-mannered.
• Any form of negligence, misconduct, dishonesty, or repeated lateness will attract disciplinary action.

Performance & Discipline:

• Confidentiality breaches or gross misconduct may lead to immediate dismissal.
• Failure to meet expectations may result in warnings, sanctions, or termination.
• Performance will be monitored regularly.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of road networks and traffic patterns.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional or executive driver.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience driving senior executives is highly preferred.
• Between 40 - 50 years old
