Senior Software Engineer - Java

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 5-9 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, databases, and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
• Develop scalable and robust Spring Boot and microservices applications.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.
• Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Work closely with product managers, business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other developers.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop unit and integration tests and ensure good test coverage.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance where required.

Requirements:

• 5-9 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java 8/11/17+, OOP, Collections, Multithreading, and Exception Handling.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot.
• Good experience developing microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and web services.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Good understanding of Maven/Gradle.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
• Experience with cloud-native application development.
• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools such as ELK, Grafana, or Prometheus.
