Founding Product Designer

You'll be our Founding Product Designer (UI/UX), owning the complete frontend experience end-to-end. This isn't a siloed design or engineering role; it's a hybrid ownership position where you'll drive the craft and get your design shipped to end users.

Responsibilities:

• Design intuitive experiences: Craft user experiences that feel effortless and meaningful from information architecture and identity systems to micro-interactions and AI-mediated flows.
• Behaviour thinking: Design with consumer behaviour and human psychology in mind.
• Rapid Prototyping and User Validation: Translate ideas into prototypes that can be validated by quick experiments.
• Design systems: Establish foundational design patterns and component libraries that scale with the product.
• Collaborate with the founding team: Work directly with our founders on product strategy, technical feasibility, and vision alignment.
• Set the bar: Define what "great" looks like for UI/UX at Wizzme - both user delight and usability.

The core requirements for the job include the following:

You should be hands-on with:

• Claude, Lovable or Cursor for rapid prototyping and AI-assisted development.
• Figma for design exploration and system documentation.
• Familiar with frontend stack - Web, Android, iOS.

• Hands-on: You design. You can understand code. You don't delegate the hard parts and can learn fast.
• AI-Native approach: You are not just catching up on AI trends; instead thinking deeply about what's next.

Experience:

• Built B2C user-facing products (web or mobile).
• Demonstrated design sensibility: either through portfolio work or shipped products.
• Have built some thoughtful side projects with current AI tools.
• 2-3 years of Design Experience.
