Client Accountant

160over90 is a global, culturally-led creative agency with expertise across advertising, branding, experiential, partnerships, PR and communications, and serves leading brands including AB InBev, Audi, Marriott, and Visa.

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Client Accountant to join our organization. This position will be based in our Philadelphia office but will work closely with the finance and accounting team members in all 160over90 locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and quantitative skills and be able to work independently and proactively as well as in a team environment. The candidate must be able to communicate with individuals of all levels and backgrounds and succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

• Client/Project Management
  • Oversee full project accounting for clients within remit
  • Ensure timely and complete Client Billings and monthly A/R reporting and follow up in partnerships with AR analysts
  • Management of A/P process including new vendor setups, confirming and coding payables requests, and overseeing release of payments in connection with shared services partner and Treasury department
  • Liaise and coordinate with business partners to ensure budgets are submitted and reviewed for projects, accounts are reviewed monthly, rebillable expenses are appropriately managed, and projects are reconciled and closed
• Support Corporate Accounting
  • Perform month-end close duties and reporting including recording of accurate journal entries for revenue and expense
  • Conduct monthly balance sheet account reviews and reconciliations to ensure ledger maintenance
  • Assist with various ad-hoc reporting and projects as needed

Knowledge and Experience

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years general accounting experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience in a marketing/creative agency environment preferred but not required

• Experience utilizing SAP accounting software a plus
